Fanuc OiTB Controller

Dear All,

• I have a Turning m/c with Retroffited Fanuc OiTB controller. In this m/c spindle speed does not exceed more than 700 rpm ( spindle limit at 2250 ), gear ratio is 3.333. I wish to rotate the Spindle mmotor at 6000 so that I could get nearly 2000rpm at chuck. Any body can tell which parameters to altered.

• Also I don't know the cable wiring detail of cable ( CNC RS232 to Computer Serial port ), in case I wish to change the PLC ladder with the help of Fapt Ladder 3 software.

I am not the best guy for tips since I am new were, but I changed my ladder using a flash card for download the flash from and to the controller. My controller (21i-mt) have the pcmcia adaptor, but I do not know if yours have or not.

About the cable, look at the other posts. I made one using Dan Fritz details and it works fine. Look at one of its posts.

Are you in low gear ?

Actually mc is retriffited, there is mechanism for low / high gear but Plc software is written for only single gear.
At 700 rpm spindle motor is rotatig at 2350 only. So why can not we ircrease the motor rpm by changing in paramrter.
If U can tell which parameter to be change , it will be a help.
