M.RISHIKESH is on a distinguished road
Klingelnberg Germany Make B27 Blade Grinding Machine with Fanuc 160i-MA

Dear All,

Day before yesterday operator had switched OFF the machine & yesterday when machine was put ON, booting started and after Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional got booted up, we used to get a blue dump screen
with Message like "STOP ….. KMODE exception not handled, Be sure u have adequate disk space. If driver is identified in STP msg, disable driver or check with driver for Manufacturer updates, check for BIOS updates etc etc……"

We tried the following based on our previous experience of last year for similar problem :

a) In order to repair some corrupted files of Windows, we have put Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional CD in CD drive, pressed F2 and changed boot sequence such that CDROM is first boot then we got message Press any key to boot from CD, then few drivers got loaded automatacially and when we found "Set up is starting Windows" then next screen again jumps to blue dump screen
with Message like "STOP ….. KMODE exception not handled, Be sure u have adequate disk space. If driver is identified in STP msg, disable driver or check with driver for Manufacturer updates, check for BIOS updates etc etc……"

b) We inserted Emergency (Recovery disk) Symenetac and as per prompt on the screen Recovered B27_PC, I386 and WINNT under drive C, in case of all these 3 dolders that means B27_PC, I386 and WINNT , at that we got 1,708 files sucessulyy revovered and after that when we restarted the machine again bootimg stops with blue dump screen
with Message like "STOP ….. KMODE exception not handled, Be sure u have adequate disk space. If driver is identified in STP msg, disable driver or check with driver for Manufacturer updates, check for BIOS updates etc etc……"

c) Last year we had recieved a Hard Disk from OGT, we removed exsiting hard disk and fitted that hard disk to isolate problem with Hard disk but in case of this Hard disk also booting stops with blue dump screen
with Message like "STOP ….. KMODE exception not handled, Be sure u have adequate disk space. If driver is identified in STP msg, disable driver or check with driver for Manufacturer updates, check for BIOS updates etc etc……"

d) We disconnected all the cables (like ethernet cable, JD46 for R232, USB, FSSB cable etc.) connected with Fanuc controller on rear side of LCD to isolate problem due to Fanuc side & to run only PC side, still booting stoppped with blue dump screen
with Message like "STOP ….. KMODE exception not handled, Be sure u have adequate disk space. If driver is identified in STP msg, disable driver or check with driver for Manufacturer updates, check for BIOS updates etc etc……"

e) As u r aware, there is a RAM card on extreme left hand side of Fanuc Controller on rear side of LCD, we removed it to ensure that it is clean and not causing the problem, found it to be clean , assemebled back everything still booting stops with blue dump screen
with Message like "STOP ….. KMODE exception not handled, Be sure u have adequate disk space. If driver is identified in STP msg, disable driver or check with driver for Manufacturer updates, check for BIOS updates etc etc……"

After around 2 more hours suddenly we found machine became alright after Switch OFF and ON and we started grinding the blades.

Please go thro the above and let us know what could have gone wrong due to which we were getting blue dump screen
with Message like "STOP ….. KMODE exception not handled, Be sure u have adequate disk space. If driver is identified in STP msg, disable driver or check with driver for Manufacturer updates, check for BIOS updates etc etc……" for around 8 hours during booting ????????????????

Thanks a lot.

Best Regards,

M. Rishikesh
