    Question 3T setup help

I'm learning to program a Tsugami flatbed lathe with a gang slide My Question is on tool offset's can I scratch in a tool "cut and Measure" Then G50 X&Z with the tool # and offset # then jog to the next tool and do the same and so on so far the part's I'v made have been mostly od or id turning with one tool and I need to move on to more complacted part's and the manual's aren't the most helpfull also X+ is on the operator's side of the bed witch makes it confusing to most CNC lathe operators It's alright for some one who's use too a manual lathe Like Myself Thank's Kevin

    Say, Z-setting:
When a tool touches a known Z-level, say, Z = 0, press OFFSET, GEOM soft key. Bring the cursor to the desired offset number (row number), type Z0 and press MEASUR soft key. Keep wear values zero.

G50 works, but it would remain valid only in the current machining session.
