I wont go over the problem specifics again, you can look at what i have posted in past about ATC DRY RUN lights on, and the machine sitting in not ready. My question now is, we have replaced the PC1 board, and even went as far as to get an exact machine match, from the exact same kind of machine. We were told by various sources, as well as fanuc, that we needed this machine specific board with the machine specific chips on it. Well, we got that board, and now the same problem still exists. Any sudjestions?? Couple extra pieces of info, and questions at the same time. We got ahold of one of the DNC set's of upgrade chips, and rather then put them directly in, we made a copy, and put the copy in. If memory serves me right, the machine worked with them, prior to our current problem. Question involves the chip types that were used to duplicate them. The chips on the board(s) uses the UV flash rom chips, and we used the E-prom chips which didnt need a UV light to erase. Wouold somthing as simple as chip type/difference screw up the machine reading them properly? The machine has the ATC and Dry run lights on, sits in not ready, and the control switch position on screen changes with movement of feedrate dial. Its backwards, or something. Any direct help, apprecitated!! bones@mywoodentouch.com |
