The machine is a EDM ,the machine has a om-a control...the main board is a A16B-1010-0210...The power supply board A16B-1210-0660 Keeps blowing the 3.2 amp fuse....If I replace the fuse machine will come up for a couple of minutes then blow the 3.2 amp fuse on the main board power supply...thanks for your help...

The 3.2 amp fuse supplies 24v to the front panel and CRT, I/O
I would pull the I/O board then turn on the control, the machine will not come up, wait a few minutes to see if the fuse blows. If it still blows disconnect Crt and try again, if it does not blow put I/O board back in with all connectors off (M1,M2,M18,M19,M20)
Try turning on again, If fuse does not blow, try putting one connector back on at a time, until you find the connector that is causing the fuse to blow. Once you find the connector look at your electrical drawings to see what that connector supplies.

Best I can remenber SMP is slow blow probably not real critical. for i/o related.
I think that there is no issue w power supply.
Try our friends solution ie isolatiom if fuse starts blowing.

The sugestion on pulling the I/O board is a good one...and I did try that..Thats why I thought there was a big differance in the fuse type...I did get the mp fuses off ebay baybe it was really old .and ready to blow...The drawings I got for the machine are for a machine with a 6m my machine has a om-a so I am realy lost when it comes to tracking anything down . Wish I could find some drawings for a om-a control...thanks to everone for there help thanks...see you guys later....
