slow acceleration/deceleration fanuc OM

Hi

The machine I'm working on is a Yang machining-center with fanuc OM control, and it has REALLY slow spindle acceleration/deceleration.

Does anybody know what parameters to change to make it faster?

There are no parameters in Fanuc 0, related to spindle acc/dec
What type of spindle amplifier?
See manual for it
There should be needed parameters

BTW, may be your spindle is in current limiting mode during acc/dec because of the large moment of inertia of mechanical load, for instance. Or any troubles with current detection circuit in amplifier

look a prm #6582 Acceleration/deceleration time setting standard setting is 10
prm#6530 Soft start/stop time standard setting is 0 (i tried to change #6530 but with no effect and i never tried #6582)

Strange, but I don't see these parameters in my manual
The only acc/dec parameters related to spindle are parameters related to rigid tapping

Try the list of parameter as follow.
6572 change from 900 to 3000
6536 change from 0 to 200
6537 change from 0 to 6000
6583 change from 96 to 70
6603 change from 400 to 200
6611 change from 100 to 1000
6630 change from 250 to 800
