I have a lathe with a 6t control. I can get about 1/3 of the way thru a program I'm trying to run when the hydraulics and the spindle shut down. The screen says not ready at the bottom. The red ALARM LED on the front of the control is lit, but no alarm on the screen. In the back of the machine there is a board with many LEDS. One is lit that says scr dcm overheat. I can't find any description in my manuals. Please help me. I have the biggest job of my life waiting on this machine.  |

| Is this on the DC spindle controller? Is the Spindle motor getting hot? If not it may be the O.Temp sensor in the motor, do you have a spindle current meter? If so is it running a constant high current? Al.
