411 X-axis alarm on a 6T control. Only happens at 100% Rapid. I have done a through search on the Web and can find nothing on how to resolve this problem. I figure that it relates to excess following error but not sure. The axis is not obstructed in any way and moves freely enough turning the ball screw by hand wih the motor disconected. Any help greatly appreciated. Jerry |

| The actual alarm 411 reads 'The contents of the error register of the X axis is larger than the value allowed while the machine is moving". It is actually following error, it can be caused on a slant bed lathe when the X axis counterbalance requires attention, or something has tightened up on the axis to cause the following error. I have had to tweak the parameters in some cases as the machine ages. RPDFX for e.g. Rapid traverse rate. Al.
