Fanuc 0iMC param. problem.

Hi All,

We losted all information on a VMC with fanuc 0iMC controller. We uploaded the backup and it worked fine, but there is something the machine is not doig the same way.

1.Before we where able to run a program form any position of the machine with no problem, now it is not possible, we have to send the machine to home everytime we run the program.
2. After a tool change the machine looses all offsets (G54).

In older controlls like 0MC or 0MD there is an option in the setting screen called ABS7INC related to this, but I can not find it in this contol.

Any help will be much appreciated.

I can't find ABS7INC in the 0M-D parameter manual. I did find WKZRST which reverts to G54 when the control is reset. It is prm #394 bit 6. The equivalent parameter on the 0iM is WZR (prm #1201 bit 7).

Thank you for your reply, we found the ABS MAN oprtion under the OFFSET/SETTINS, OPR key, it is different than 0MD but we solved the problem.
