    Turret servo amplifier failure

    Machine is Lathe ROMI G15SM, 2001. y.
    CNC is Fanuc 18i-TA

    There are two alarms:
    1005 TURRET SERVO AMPLIFIER FAILURE
2024 TURRET PULSE CODER BATTERY LOW

I do not know if these two alarms have something in common.

There is SERVO AMPLIFIER UNIT beta SERIES which I beleave is for turret rotation.
    A06B-6093-H152

On it's display there are flashing some codes:
    U ; 2 ; 1 ; 11 and so on in circle

When I try to change tool (to rotate turret) first I hear some noise (breaking pin goes out?) and than nothing.

You can see turret type on pic.

Please if someone has got any experience with simmilar problem or maybe has got manual for this servo amplifier, please help me.

The absolute pulsecoder battery is low or disconnected. Connect new batteries and see manufacturers documentation how to set reference for this drive. You can see more on SYSTEM/PMM screen.

    OK, I changed the battery.
BUT, now there are two new problems.

    1. It gives me wrong tool, not the one I have commanded.
In the manufacturer manual there is no word about turret referencing or anything similar.

    2. After tool is changed (completely, just wrong tool N.) by MDI command Txxxx, the T command is not completed and I get "Cycle not completed".
Could reason for that be just the wrong tool number?
Does machine know that changed tool is wrong?

At SYSTEM/PMM screen I just see whole bunch of 0 and 1's, but I don't know which parameter is for what

Problem solved, I got from machine builder the procedure for turret zero point.
The catch is parameter #11 bits 0 and 7.

I setup Tapping Machine Kira, the same with your case
A06B-6093-H152 is IO link beta servo, you need reload all parameter before replace new battery, if you don't have A06B-6093-H152 manual i will send you for more clearly.

A06B-6093-H152 SERVO AMP. Don't have fault code list. Getting r (what looks like a little r) on the 7segment display. Anyone seen this before?
