I have a problem with taper cutting and need to see the list of parameters from your machine....not the ones from the book///but whats in the machine dont know if my problem is bad pars or something else....I could get a eprom copier from ebay for 60.00 dollars.....I need to see par list first to make sure everything is working first...... Before I make copies of my eproms....I have a spare main board that is rev 16b........

My machine has 998 system error (parity rom) so I cannot read the parameter from the machine by RS232.I can send you the parameter list attached with my machine, if you still need it.I have checked it with the one on the machine before, they are indentical. What 's your problem with taper cutting? I can help you, usually the problem with taper cutting comes from the declaration on the screen of taper cutting ,not from parameters

for the 998 rom alm, please reseat the rom chips.

if that fails look at the number that is common to all the chips ie 0465 or what everthen take the alphabeth number after the location num. ie FCIB where the Bis rev num. Then call fanuc america 888-326-8287 they will burn you a new set reasonable.

Fanuc can only write chips that are viable (and only in Chicago). 988 error means that the ladder program is corrupt. I have the same problem on a Bridgeport Fanuc OM control and I have to go back to the company that bought them out, so Elox would have had that information not Fanuc (I have had them out to my shop and I know that for sure). On the older Fanuc Machines the Ladder program will not displayed on the screen.

To gabedrummin have not heard from you since we got our Elox running. our actual feed rate for a 1 1/2 piece of steel is .089 inches per minute and .25 inches per minute on a finish skim cut. That's 3 times faster than when we started.

sounds like you are making progress on your feed . keep in mind that these machies were only rated at 6.00 inches an hour.....that cutting in a one inch tall block . The taller the block the slower it will cut . You need to make sure your power feed wires are in good shape , and good ground wires , corussion cut wires dirt bad contacts will slow it down .....What did you end up using for edm conditions ?

That may be true, and especially for a flusher 0.1 inches a minute. and that's with a new machine. But with the modification we made on the lower head, which keeps the lower head cover & saturated keeping the contact block always wet, (which by the way was 90% of the wire breakage). Increased our speed dramatically.

I have searched my laptop and can not find the Parameter list. I will have to search my Desk top for the file latter. Send email address to send file.

I have not replaced the pump on ours but we just gutted a series N Elox and there were 2 pumps on that. Those and the one on our series O use a 200v Pump. Have no Idea where to get one. Saving ours if we need in the future.
