    I need some help cutting a G76 thread on Takisawa TS-20 (Fanuc 10T G-code system A)

    Tried a G76 code but machine shows PS 010 Alarm(improper G-code)

    Code: G76 X60000 Z25000 K3680 D1800 F600 A60 P1;
    What is wrong?

    Improper G Code

    Hi .. one of two things I think ... the machine does not have the canned cycle option so no G76 ... maybe try another canned cycle like G74 ( peck drilling ). If you get the same alarm ... I would say the machine does not have the canned cycle option.

    The other is that the machine is using the B cycles ... some Fanuc controls have a A cycles and B cycles. The cycles function the same but the G code is different. I'm not sure of the comparable B cycle for G767 ... maybe someone here can post or if you have one, take a look in the manual or online.

    Hope this helps ...

    Check parameter 9104 bit 2 for the canned cycle. Bits run right to left (76543210). If your machine had it before it could be that the parameters were lost at one time and when reentered they missed this info.

    Just curious steveo... Why do you post option parameters up here when the site owner has instructed us not to?

    Dcoupar…based on what Danil had stated about the MTB manual specifying these options I would suspect that these options were previously installed on the control which allows Danil to restore them to the original setting.

    I did not read the details from the site owner. I will try to be more careful in the future and send PM’s
