Need Help!- How can I convert .nc files into .nci files

Hi everybody. I need your help. I want to check some old programs, by importing them into mastercam. I saw the options : create toolpath by importing .nci . I have only the .nc files and I want to know how can I generate from these files .nci files .

Can't do it that way. What you'd have to do here is to run a Reverse Post of the NC file to create a nci file you can import into the toolpath manager to view/create geometry. I'd have to look into how its done on MCX but on older versions you could do it in NC Utilities. If I get a chance, I'll look into it but your reseller should be able to help you through it (if you can still do this in X).

Also, you could google for Verify or Backplot. There are many softwares out there that can very from G gode and perhaps give you geometry from toolpaths.

Thanks for the tip. I will try to find an older version of mastercam and check it. I thought that X3 has this utility , but I didn't find anything.
