Fanuc 10M, EMG Display On, EMG Button OK, Rev 6-29

We checked the EMG button and the relay it actuates. They are OK.
We looked at the ladder diagram on he machine, but frankly it is way beyond our capabilities in that area, but we would like to know the logic flow that allows the control to come alive.
The emergency button actuates a Relay, CR17, this is OK.
A new relay did not help.
This problem occurred after a total reload of all parameters by a qualified person who has sucessfully done this before.
The machine appears OK except the EMG display on the bottom of the CRT stays on and the machine is dead.
We are leaning toward some parameter that keeps the EMG on, but what one? Thanks.

Check option relays. The option relays - are the software links in ladder. May be one wasn't set up. They are marked "OPx.x". The first "x" - number of byte, the second "x" - number of bit. Try to find one in EMG line of ladder. To set up push "NC/PC" -> software key "relay" (or "option relay" - don't remember exactly). Then set the proper bit in byte.

mine did the same thing. PARAMETERS!!! i'm telling you check them or edit them.
