RS-232 problem on Fanuc 0-MB. (Al The Man or Dan Fritz, I Need your assistance)

I have problem when I try to uploading program (NC Code) from PC to machine via RS232. I've follow all the information that I got from this forum but no luck.
My machine Le Blond Makino with Fanuc 0-M model C.

SETTING PAGE Personal Computer Settings
ISO = 1 (0:EIA 1:ISO) 4800 Baudrate
I/O = 0 (0:PORT 0, 1:PORT 1) 2 stop bits
ISO Code (ASCII)
PARAMETERS Even parity
0002 = 1XXXX0X1 Data length = 7 bits
0038 = 1010XXXX Control Codes (Xon/ Xoff used)
0055 = XXXXX000 LF for End Of Block
0070 = 0XXXXXXX
0552 = 10 (Baud rate)

I'm very interesting what Al The Man said
If you are talking RS232 transmit/receive, the IC's that may be the problem are not eproms, they can be the 1488/1489 RS232 drivers or similar type.
I usually trace the RS232 port back to the relevant IC using an ohm meter if necessary, most are off the shelf IC's.
Al.
What is my real problem? hardware or just wrong parameter setting? does anyone can help me to describe for each parameter should I check?

Thanks,
Andre

Buy me a Beer?

The IC's mentioned were regarding another problem, you may not be that far yet!
When you say no luck, what actually happens?, any messages?
Did it ever work and quit or never worked?
Al.

Thanks Al for your quick response

I'm using SDNC to transfer my program... after I hit Transmit on SDNC and press cycle start on machine, only LSK symbol flashing without any movement or alarm. progress bar is working and status on SDNC : DSR off, RX off, TX on

Its been working over 1 year, until yesterday. I already change cable connection with new one,using another DNC program (NC Sentry,CIMCO), swap COM1 to COM2 on PC and reconfigure the preferences. but still the same. Is it possible that IC RS232 drivers defective? I saw the IC's type SN75189AN , SN75188A. is this what you mean?

Cycle Start? Are you trying to "drip-feed" a program or load a program into memory? I didn't think you hit Cycle Start to load programs.

Did you try to simply load in to memory, no drip feed?
This will check the port.
Those are the IC's in question, BTW.

Buy me a Beer?

Copy this file and then change name from .zip to .pdf.
The upload feature only allows 500mb for files other than zip.
If that doesn't work send me an email address by PM.

Buy me a Beer?

That uses the Procomm or whatever Fanuc was using at the time, but any transfer or modem program will work.
