FANUC 31i load program

We recently recieved a brand new Zimmermann 5axis machining center with a FANUC 31i controler. I have no problems loading programs manually with a USB stick but when we use our DNC system through the network I can see the file on the controler but I am unable to select it as the main program. I keep getting an error message 'selecting main program failed'.
