I have a Mori ZL153 with a Fanuc 18i control that I want to make one tiny edit to the ladder on so that the omni does not spray oil when not indexed up to grab the part. "L" is the password to view and I know how to change the parameters to change the ladder and I even have Ladder - III but I don't have the ladder password. Any help would be greatly and forever appreciated. |

typically the ladder password will be the numeric part of the ladder version numer. for example: if the ladder version number is I811144, then the password is 811144. This may not work for certain custom NC controls. |

| The password can be anything the MTB decides it to be. Yes sometimes MTB will use a standard like the machine serial number or the word “service”. But without that who knows. Is it asking you for a password when trying to edit the ladder? If not then it just might be a keeprely bit that need to be turned on for editing. I know on our 15mb we have to use a password to view the ladder but a bit change to do any edits. Daniel can probably get the password for you. I have seen some programs out there that can search and find the password within the ladder. Stevo |

| Ladder is deffinitely read/write password protected. Have tried the version number, "SERVICE", and everything else I coudl think of. I have read in forums that maybe Mori had one password for all their machines like "L" to view the ladder but for the edit also. Sent to Daniel to see what he could figure out. Thanks for the quick replies. |

| Just wanted to let everyone know that I got it figured out. It was the ladder version number but NOT the one listed in the paper printout that came with the machine. Found this out after downloading a password reader for fanuc ladders. Thanks for the input. |
