FRIENDS, WHAT ARE ALL THE PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN WHILE CLEARING THE MEMORY & RELOADING THE NC,PMC PARAMETERS IN FANUC OM CONTROL. IS IT NECESSARY TO ENTER THE 900 PARAMETERS BY HAND FIRST. DO WE HAVE TO DISCONNECT THE I/O CARDS, AXIS CARDS,SPINDLE DRIVE CONNECTIONS ETC AT THE TIME OF RELOADING . TAHNKS, CHANDRU |

Chandru, The procedures are different for various versions of the famous Fanuc 0. The last one I loaded happened to be a Fanuc 0TD, which came from India. There is a label on the top of the logic rack that tells which model it is. If it is an early 0MA, 0TA, 0TB or 0MB, it will have a large mother board. The procedures are different, especially if it is a 0D control. The "D" version has some built in tricks to prevent you from loading certain options. You may need to contact Fanuc to get the procedure for this one. The A, B, and C versions are more straightforward. In these cases, loading the 900's by hand is usually a good place to start. The brand new 0iT and 0iM are different from the rest. Which one do you have? Warren www.uptimecorp.com |

| With the 0 you can also load the 900's by PC. They can also be saved this way. Al.
