Today a problem was solved by the MTB based on information supplied. My question is how could I have problem solved this: Tool magazine had not completed its travel (5mm to go) and activated a PROGRAM STOP light displayed on the MOP. My research and input from others established a program stop results from a M00, M01 (even an M02? or M30?). How could I have interrogated the Fanuc diagnostics, or maybe the ladder logic to understand a limit had not been achieved? Regards Joe |

| I think the MTB should predict such a situation and provide some kind of alarm message, if for example some actuator is set (magazine back valve in your case), and in say 5 or 10 seconds the appropriate limit switch (magazine back) is still missing. It is let say "programming style", depend on machine some ladders have near 50% spent for such a checks, some... |
