REMOTE BUFFER UNIT IN FANUC OM

DEAR FRIENDS,

RECENTLY WE PURCHASED A VMC WITH FANUC-OM CONTROLLER AND THE NC UNIT IS HAVING ONE REMOTE BUFFER UNIT WITH PORT M73 AND M77 NOT CONNECTED.

I THINK THESE PORTS ARE FOR THE DNC OPERATIONS.

CAN WE DISCONNECT/REMOVE THE RBU PCB FROM THE NC RACK.

WILL IT AFFECT THE NORMAL FUNCTIONING OF THE MACHINE.
