    How to setup the ethernet

    Dear All,
I'm trying to connect a machine with Fanuc 21i-M by the ethernet.

I have set all the required parameters, and i can ping the IP address from the PC and also from the Machine and no problem.
but when trying to connect to the host, all the time the " Display error" message appears on the left corner of the screen.
and when checking the ETHLOG on i found that "connection can not established [258] under the screen of FTP error log

    Sting,
I have the same problem with a 0i-TC, I did not find anywhere what "DISPLAY ERROR" means. I was wondering about Caps letters in the PC Windows directory or the file name but no results. Did you try another way ? other than I/O Chanel 6, BG Edit, punch/read, etc.
I saw no replies to this thread. Did you find a solution anywhere else. Thanks.

    ACNC,
The I/O channel must be set to 9, try to power off after inputing each data,
characters must be the same as in the PC(EX.:if small in PC, also it must be small at the controller)
