I am trying to call a program off of the Hard drive from a program on the memory on my OKK VM5 mill which has a 180i-s Fanuc controller using a M198 callout. The program number is O1111, and I tried running the following program from the memory: M198 P1111; M30 I have I/O parameter 20 set to 5 (data server), parameter 3030 set to 8, and 3404bit2 set to 1. Are there other parameters that need to be changed, or is my process wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! |

| I do not have an answer, because I never tried it. But, for the experts to analyse your problem, you have to exactly say what error message you get, and how you have connected the hard disk to the CNC. Just a wild guess: If the hard disk stores the program with file name 1111, param 3404#2 should perhaps be 0. |
