I use NC Guide Pro on a daily basic, it's the only try Fanuc CNC simulator.
It is good for what i do - designing PMC's without the machine (can test and simulate it well).
I also get people sending me their NC programs they have issues with, good tool test out, and the graphics are ok.
It is a good learing tool too, when you hover over codes, it tells you what they are.
Manual Guide i is included.
What are your plans for it?

It's not very good for 3D work. 2D and 2.5D it's ok.
For 3D work i used vericut to test programs.
There are tooling forms on it.
Have you seen Manual Guide i? All NC Guide is, is a Fanuc CNC Sim on your PC and it has MGi Guide. It's very expensive for what it does, £2000 - £4000, depending on model.

I am under the impression that MGi is only for conversational part programming. It cannot show the toolpath/final shape of the workpiece, for a program created outside MGi. Pl clarify.
If MGi can show the simulation of an external program, what is the need for NC GUIDE, if program verification is the sole purpose?
Hello.
You can simulate any Fanuc program with it. Normal G-code, MGi code, macro b etc.
It will show tool paths and a 3d model for all of the above.
NC guide is used for more than program verification, it is a training aid for colleges to learn the Fanuc control, or to test out the effect of parameter changes etc.
Pro is to prove out PMC's - that is a good tool.
