Need Help!- no counter

we have two Takahashi machines with Fanuc 21i-T controls. They both seem to be set up with parts counters but only one actually counts parts. Is there a parameter that has to be turned on for it to work?

yes, there is a parameter, it said counting on M30 or counting on the M Code that the maschine builder has createt.

thanks, but do you know the number of the parameter? Or if the parameter is missing, how to write it in?
