Serial communication........My machine has om-a control , but the parameters are maped like a 6m......Would love to find a machine like mine to see what the parameters are set to.......thanks

i can help . just tell me what ypur pc is set i have manual for this mach.

baude rate 4800 2 stop bits com 1 seril port

here are the parameters relating to RS 232.
310,311, 312 and 313. For 4800 Baud the righthand 4 digits will be. 1001.
bits 0,1,2 and 3.
bits 4 are stop bits 1 and 2, where 0 will be 1 stop bit. and 1 for 2 stop bits.
Bit 5 is for DC1 - DC4 , 1 is not used, 0 is used.
bit 6 is not used. Bit 7 is for NFED .
You set which address you need based on the channel used on the handy page. Says something like I/O channel = either 0,1, 2 or 3.

So I expect you will put in parameter 312 00111001
