Need Help!- OT Alarm

I have a Mori JR w/10M control.Have a OT032 Z Need ZRN alarm.ALso noticed when I hold the OT button in, and power up.The z axis will move,BUT,In the neg direction when i'm turning the handle in the pos direction.Is this a parameter that's off.And which one? Thanks,Mike

The absolute encoder batteries are probably the cause.
Parameter 1815 bit 4 = 0.

The machine should have two battery holders on the electrical cabinet door where the machine isolater is located.
One battery holder has 4 batteries. Check and replace these batteries.
Zero the Z-axis manually then reset the alarm.

If there is no additional battery box (the memory battery unit only has 3 D-cells 1.5V) then it is most probable that parameter 1815 for the Z-axis was set incorrectly.

Machine with absolute encoders (battery backed up):
parameter 1815 = 00110000 (normal condition when batteries are ok)
parameter 1815 = 00100000 (abnormal condition usually when batteries fail)

Machine with incremental encoders (not battery backed up):
Parameter 1815 = 00000000 (only if no linear scales are utilised)
