Problem with control in MPG mode. if one of the speed multiplier buttons (x1, x10, x100 ) is not selected when you go into MPG mode, and you turn the wheel on the MPG the position changes on the screen but the table is not moving. Is there a parameter that is not set correctly? |

| Sounds like a OEM error in programming, normally the MPG mode has to see a multiplier? How are they de-selected? Did this just start or has always been there? Al.

It has always been there from what I'm told, started a new job and learning the quirks of the machines. So would this be a ladder problem, or is ther a parameter that is suposed to keep track of the last position and default to that. I have an OM control and it has a rotary switch so it always has a position selected. this has three push button switchs that light up. |

| I suspect it is a quirk of the way the switches were implemented, not so much ladder as the method used to select the range can be an illegal non-selection. In the normal method used there is always a range selected. Normally if you move the hand wheel and the display changes, but there is no motion for some reason, you reach the excess error or following error position on the display. Al.
