I have a double column with an 18i control that has been sitting without power for a while. When it was last turned off all three axises were moved to the centre of travel and the head blocked. My boss got me to put power to it last week and when I did I got 4 alarms. 3 of the alarms are X,Y,Z overtravel alarms but the alarm numbers don't match the operators manual. The 4th is the 9015 SP switch control alarm. The real kicker is I couldn't change screens. I found that if I disconnected the signal wire from the tool magazine counter and brake sensor it allowed me to change screens. I started off simple and checked all the fuses, breakers and overloads which are fine. None of the limit switches are stuck and I have checked all the checked all the wires for the switches. I replaced all of the relays and all the I/O boards. If anyone has any suggestions I'm willing to try just about anything at this point. |

| no.9015 SPN_n_ : SP SWITCH CONTROL ALARM 1 Check and correct the ladder sequence. 2 Replace the switching MC. Description: The switch sequence in spindle switch/output switch operation is abnormal. The switching MC contact status check signal and command do notmatch. The overtravel alarm, you could check the PMC to look for the Overtravel signal. They are the G114 bit0~bit 7 and the G116 bit0 to bit7. If really have a axis overtravel ,one of that bits will be 0. And you would be check the Emergency stop signal (*ESP<X008#4,G008#4>). good luck! wujp |
