Miyano 6T Working Fine till NOW, Any Advice?

Ok, so thanks to help from everyone on the forum, specificly Fritz, Stevo, Al the man, etc. So I have been running parts on my Miyano 6BC with a 6t controll fine all weekend. Then this morning I go to start the machine and run parts again. Everything is fine for one part, then the next start of the program the machine stops in the middle of the program and the screen shuts off. It would not respond. So I turn the main switch back on, then start the program over. It goes to about the middle of the program then stops responding, but the screen is still on. I restart the entire machine again, but now It will not go past the not ready screen. When I used to turn the main switch on before, the main cooling fan for the spindle motor would turn on instantly, and now it does not. I looked inside the back panal, and this LED is now on, and I dont think it was on before. Does this tell me what happend or what is wrong?

As always thanks for any help!

In the Mori maintenance manual tells whats mean, last year I change this fuji spindle driver instead a yaskawa F7 and I use that manual. I donīt remember well and I am in the country now. I donīt have the manuals with me. I think if you you look the connection of the driver there is a 88l wire or signal. Check and tell me maybe this refresh my memory.
    Best regards

    Carlos Cabrera

Wyhen i put the F7 I have to change the motor too.

You have an alarm in the spindle drive, the black button below the alarm led's is the reset button, press it and see if the alarm disappears, check the fuses in the drive and check the input voltage to be the correct one. Tomorrow with my manual I will tell you the reason of that alarm.

Ok, I have tried to press that reset button. You can here a relay click when I do that and the light goes off, but then right when I let go of the button it comes back on. I even tried holding the buttong while I turn the machine on, and then let it go with the same results. If you could let me know on what exactly that led is saying that might get me going in the right direction.

Well, lets try this: Change the sequence on the input (energy) the sequence must be R,S,T. Maybe they are wrong, try to change the first and the last of the cables (one for the other).

How would the machine be working correctly for the past month, and now the sequence be off? I can change them, but they have not been changed since it was working correctly.

Ok, if that doesn't work this is what I have that needs to be checked.
Is the thermal setting value of the cooling fan motor for spindle motor correct??
The thermal protection of cooling fan trips???
Is the blade of a cooling fan stuck or rubbed anywhere???
    Is single phase operation ok???
    Is power supply normal???
    Is fan motor OK???

This is related to that alarm.

Sorry, I didn't read all the info in your first message, the sequence is not the problem then.

Ok, I pulled off the cooling fan motor that is on the bottom of the spindle motor. It looks fine to me. It looks like it is a three fase motor, is this correct? Also, I pulled that cooling motor off, and tried to start up the machine again with the same resuls. Any other ideas? I notice if I HOLD down that reset button on the spindle drive that the machine will then start up and start the hydro pump, but right when I let go of that reset button, it stops again. Thanks in advance.

Ok, I tested the cooling fan motor with a seperate power source and it is good. Seems like a problem leading to the motor. Considering it is not the cable leading to it, where else can I look?

Does the fan motor has a thermal protector??? It is other of the thngs to check.

There is a short that you can do between 88N and M to check if the problem is outside the drive or in the drive, you can do it, just be carefull no to short other parts.

Ok, so there should be two pins somewhere on the drive that is labled 88N and 88M, and just carefully short those two spots? If so once I do this, what am I looking for?
