When I remove the cables to my 4th axis I get a error message that says servo missing. I have seen on some machines a switch to override this message. Can this be added to a OMD control? The rotary table uses an @ series motor. Any help would be appreciated. |

| You have to find inthe electrical wiring diagram the signal 4th axis neglect. Maybe you habe the switch. some times there is in the electrical cabinet. When you have the machine off. You remove the fourth axis swith to fourth axis neglect and turn on. and you must have no alarm. Usually works in that way. Carlos |

| Not all machine tool builders use the same M-codes. M71 may work on Julian's machine, but unless you have the same machine, it may not. For example, on some machines, M70 is a "Pallet Magazine Index", and M71 is "Unload Pallet 1". So be careful what you type in MDI... you just might get what you asked for. If the builder didn't provide a 4th-axis neglect switch, it may have to be disabled in the Fanuc parameters. |
