Hi, i had deleted the ram of my fanuc controller series OT and now my keyboard is not working correctly. It's strange because when i am in the offset mode the keyboard is enable to introduce data this happen also in program mode but in this case the keyboard works like the compact version where the letters and the numbers are in the same key. Now, when i want to do the same action to set parameters, the keyboard doesn't work. A thecnician told me that i can't introduce parameter because the system initialize in EDIT mode and should be in MDI mode, but we can change it. Another solution was change the keyboard to the compact version (the daewo 8HC has a extended keyboard that includes letters) but we are still looking for it. If you have any idea about it, i'll be pleasured. Regards |

| Parameter 38 bit 3 = 1 (full keypad) = 0 (standard keypad) To reload parameters. Push the E stop button in. Power up holding in "Reset" and "Delete"push buttons. Load all 900 series parameters. Power off then back on. Reload the rest of the parameters and diagnostics |

| Thanks cncdiag, The parameter 38 bit 3 is equal to 0. We could found the standard keypad and it is working however i can't load parameters yet. I'm following these steps: 0. Turn on the system 1. Parameters push button on (DGNOS/PARAM) 2. Number push button on (No./L/Q/P) and insert the parameter number 3. (INPUT) push button on 4. No. push button on again and insert the bits array But when i try to load the bits array (step 4) the keypad doesn't work. Do you know any idea about it? That's the procedure, right? |

| Pull out all the plugs mounted on the I/O pcb. Mode will become MDI with EMERCENCY STOP condition. You can re-insert the plugs after you have reloaded the 900 parameters which you should re-input first manually. |
