First of all, thanks to all of you contributers who make this such a useful site. It's great to browse all the threads and posts that deal with some of my questions. It is also reassuring to see other new guys getting help with their specific problems. Well, here's my problem. I recently purchased a 1995 Excel 810 VMC with Fanuc 0M ("C"). After getting familiar with the controls, I loaded the ATC with some tools and made some aluminum shavings in JOG mode and then by G01 in MDI. I recorded all of my tool diameters and heights, along with other data, in spreadsheet format. How do I input this data into Fanuc 0M? How do I remove the tool data from the previous owner? I am just learning how to navigate the screens, and it seems very straight forward. I just don't know what screen I'm looking for. I expect to order a replacement Fanuc operating manual from Fanuc America at the start of business on Monday. Can anybody help me until it shows up? |

| You can [PUNCH] the offsets that are in the control. Open the resulting file in a text editor, and if you format the offsets you want to load in the same format, you should be able to [READ] them in. You can do this for both tool and work offsets. |
