Need Help!- Fanuc 31i-A , RS232, DNC

Does anyone has any experience with this controller?
It is probably pretty new, because there is not so much info about it.

In our school we got new "FANUC ROBODRILL alfa-T14i FLe", with "31i-MODEL A" controller.

So, does anyone has some manual for DND trought RS232 for this controller?
What I have to set up on machine, in software, cable...?

I have experience with old 0-M control, but don't know if there is anything simmilar?

It is very similar to every "i" series control. Parameters 100..103 for serial channel 0. In offset/setting set also I/O device to 0 for RS232 communication, it says usually to 4 for memory card. Look in the electric cabinet or in a carton box with the machine, there must be short length pcmciia card adapter (packed in bubbled nylon) - you need to buy just a compact flash card <2Mb. Tomorrow can give you the spec. No. for the disk with manuals, your supplier should be able to deliver it.
