The problem is that when i open the safety guard the robot stops and the axe 3 loosing several centemeters from its height ,from the point that it stops and then the message appears.Do you know the solution of the problem? Thank you very much. Last edited by NASOS; 01-22-2009 at 09:11 AM.  |

This implies that the brake on the servo motor is worn and needs overhaul. How much load do you have on the robot? ///M |

| Sometimes the grease for the harmonic drive enters the servo motor through the oil seal. FANUC Robots have servo motors with built-in brakes. Possibly the brake is failing to hold the motor in position when the servo power is disabled and produces a following error for stop limitation. |
