I know there is a feature on a Haas, but I am not sure on a Fanuc O-T(Ecoca SJ-35 CNC Lathe) is there a way to program the "final path" w/o programming all the rough passes? .....________ ------------------ \1 ..................\ ------------------ \2 ...................\____-------------- |3 <-----rough passes ...........................\ ------------ /4 .............................\___ ------ /5 ...................................| ...................................| <------that being the final pass Last edited by chip6990; 01-20-2009 at 11:25 AM. |

| what i am saying is, there "should be a Parameter or G-code that will allow me to program the final/finish pass w/o programming all the rough passes. in other words, this "feature" would leave enough meat on it to do the final pass. i just tell it how big the original size of the part is and program the final pass. and it calculates the rest. |
