It is a dogless system. Y-axis for turret was off and tried changing it with grid shift (1850) but couldn't do it. whenever I change 1850 value I need to power it down and re do the Y-axis home. I couldn't seem to get it at center of the part. It's always off center. I must not be doing it correctly. I enabled zero point enable, jog the y-axis close to center about 2mm and press zero return on and zero return y-axis. bit 1 appears on 1815 y-axis. Is is a correct way of I have to find the center position myself and turn on the 1815 myself? |

| Hi, Its very offten problem with machines equipp Y axis. Its take a long time to get Y in center when use #1850 Go the lazy way and do following: First have normal stage: #1815.4 = 1 Find center in Y and X by dial indicator. MDI PWE = 1 #1815.4 = 0 for X and Y RESET (just press key) Ignore P.OFF request!!! #1815.4 = 1 for Y MPG Reset INCREMENTAL on SCREEN go to X up to have exacly travel value given for this holder with you use. (ex. if for holder is 320mm - it means your X=0 must be 320mm UP from chuck zero point.) MDI #1815.4 = 1 for X PWE = 0 POWER OFF/ON machine. Good luck Darek |
