| Hi all! This is my first post on this forum, and I'm hoping someone can help me out a little. I have a Leblond Makino FNC74 1990 year machine. It has a Fanuc OM control on it. I was using it yesterday with zero problems. Today I came in and fired it up, and it displayed "thermo triped" as an error code. I assume that is supposed to be "tripped", and I figured it was an overload on one of the motor starters. It was quite cold last night, and my shop was probably down to about 40F. The hydraulic pump motor does not start up when you start the machine. You can press the button on the contactor and it will fire, so I don't think the motor is bad. I have a feeling that there is a reset somewhere that I am missing, or that maybe you have to reset something in the controller?? I am out to sea and hoping someone can throw me a line. Thanks! | This sounds like an operator alarm/message, if the O/L's are input to the PMC you should be able to view both the I/O status and the ladder to find the source. Hopefully you have the schematic and I/O listing, and if after a model later than 0A, you should be able to view the ladder. Al.
