| What do you mean it won't take it? Does it not take the change or does it not give you the extra memory? If you try to get more memory through options and your hardware does not support it I believe that you will have no memory. You have to deactivate the memory you have and activate the memory you want. Thats why you won't have any memory if your hardware does not support it. I am not sure how to check but it could be possible that you need a upgrade. I have heard these guys are pretty good. Might try giving them a call and they should be able to tell you what you have and need from a hardware stand point.
