Fanuc OM

Hey guys , I made a big error today and pushed reset while I was powering up the machine and cleared my parameters , Now I was smart enough to back these up quite awhile ago .My problems starts with the machine will not let me load anything from the computer . So can anyone suggest to me how to properly clear the data and then reload my parameters so I can make chips again .
Thanks in advance .

Buy me a Beer?

Send me an email address via PM, I will send the procedure.
Hopefully you have the 900 parameters also!

The procedure is sent.
The 900 parameters are usually supplied by Fanuc from factory on a tractor fed printer sheet.
You need this as this is the m/c options.
You just need to enter your RS232 parameters and then you can download to CNC.

I did not think that this was important since it was a control issue and not a machine specific issue .
The machine is a First CV 410 a very basic new in 1984 machine . No tool changer no programmable speed .

When outputing parameters, you are able to punch out 900's parameters also by holding some key...am I right?

Now it is too late for you, but for the next time or for others....

Start Problems

Ok I have the 900 parameters reinstalled ( called the machine seller and got them over the phone ) . Everything works fine except the machine will not cycle start . This is also the case with MDI . I am confused the machine had no problems prior to me reseting the memory .
