Om Control Battery1 Alarm

I have answered a few questions at home at night. This is my first time to have to ask one.
I have a Fanuc Elox model Q Wire EDM. It is a soft key model which is the Om Control. Hadent fired it up in 2 weeks . Got a Battery2 first. Changed all 7 batteries. ( with machine on). Off on reset and now get Battery1 Blinking in lower right. All auto functions work. Have dropped and reentered params. Refire and machine is OK. Just have Battery1 Bilinking in Red. Right where it normally blinks when am in Edit and want to download.
No. read blinking, like normal.
Any Idea how to reset Battery1 Alarm?
Thanks Jim

Have 6.4 VDC at one set of batteries.1.6 VDC at the other. Have fixed a lot of machine w/new battery and a reset.
But this one will not reset the Battery1.
Maybe I need a bigger hammer? LOL Jim

What problem are you having making it shake hands? Jim

Glad you found it I was going to say the voltage looks low......I need to know which parameters to change..... and what they should read .....I bought this machine but the book I have is for a machine with a 6m control..soo all the drawings dont match.....and I have no parameter list....I wrote down what was in memory ......But the machine had cut wires and all that is in there is standard pars.... I have the machine running but cant get the serial commuication to work ...Any help would be really great ..I have had no luck finding anyone that has a elox wire with a om control .Realy glad to find you ...maybe we can talk ????

Here is the settings for the OM control for DNC connections.

Also check to make sure your option parameters support using this device. If you lost all parameters you may not have the option to support this. Check 901.6 for reader puncher.

Parameter 552 is your baudrate settings.
=8(1200)
=9(2400)
=10(4800)
=11(9600)

Hmm your not the first person to say that they don't have #552 in parameters on the Om control. I still have not got a good answer on why that is. What is parameter 901.6 set to?

The 900 parameters are your option parameters. This is were all your functions are turned on and off including the reader/puncher interface device. You probably won't see the 900's on a output copy of your parameters because there is a special way to send these parameters out when punching. You should be able to view them in your control under settings or service. I thought maybe since you lost your parameters that maybe this function was not turned back on when you reloaded the parameters. Did this device work before this problem?

I will see if I can't find out why it does not have the 552 parameter. I just caught that you and I are discussing this in your other thread.
