Hello all, I have my machine hooked up on pc. Sending , receiving and even DNC works. But with DNC i noticed that Fanuc reads only one line at a time as the pc sends one line at a time. I thought with DNC the pc would just keep filling the Fanuc buffer and Fanuc would just delete the lines that were executed. So that Fanuc would have a buffer of several lines and would be operating smoothly. Now i can see that it takes just a little time to recieve a line of commands and that reflects on the workpiece. I know it's just a setting in DNC but don't know which to change. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks |

The vibration and slowdown is most likely to be caused by your post processor generating lots of small moves to generate radii if your cam system can generate arc output use that instead for smoother results. Stu. |

| First thank you for your reply, I bought the machine 6-7 years ago. At that time i didnt have this problem. But 2,5 years ago one of the boards burnt out and was replaced. i wasnt here that time. machines parameters was lost. until that time i am having problems like that. 4th axis was gone too but i solved it. all this time i didnt changed postprocessor etc. because of that i am searching for parameters. |
