When I am setting the tool height, under the offset/Geom page, I press both "EOB"+"Z" at the same time to enter the current relative "Z" number into the tool height offset. This works fine as long as the "relative Z" and "machine Z" numbers are the same. But whenever I reset the "relative Z", the two numbers don't match and I cannot use the "EOB+Z" quick key. Is there a parameter setting that will change it so it will always input the "machine Z". Or am I using this method of entry wrong? Similar to "EOB+Z", is there any quick key to input X and Y into G54,G55,G56.... Currently, I can only type it in manually, which I usually double and triple check the numbers. If there are similar quick keys, it would save me a lot of time. |
