What is the 'Data switch box'?
Al.
I have a Fanuc machine that Iam trying to hook up to a data switch box the end at the machine has a db-25 connection and the one at the pc end had a db-9 now I need to change the db-9 to a db-25 because the back of the box has a db-25 female plug .So does anyone have the pinout config for this ? I also have a fadal machine and Iam hooking that machine up to this box as well can I use the same config for the fadal pinout?and if not what is the right pinout config for the Fadal ?

Thanks but I already have this pinout config I need the one to go from db-25 at the data box ( Belkin Components Data switch model F1B028-E ) to db-25 at the cnc side the box has a db-25 pin on the back of it , I do not know if thie config that I have will work for this box I looked in the fadal book because that is one of the machine I am trying to hook up but it was the wrong config I guess I picked the wrong one for my computer. As you can see have not messed with the commucation line before that is why I need some help
The same cable from the Belkin box to the CNCs will work for the Fadal and the Fanuc.
Cable from Belkin box to Fanuc:
NOTE: The Fadal cables will have to be FEMALE on the CNC end, where the Fanuc needs a male end on the cable
Fanuc side (male) Belkin side (male)

The cable from the PC to the "input" plug on the Belkin box will be 9-pin to 25 pin. This cable can be purchase at any computer store. Look for a "MODEM" cable, or a "9-25 adapter" cable. Do not buy a "NUL MODEM" cable, since these have crossed connections. Some of pins shown below with an asterisk (*) are really not needed, so if you're making your own cable, you can leave these wires out.

i have a tree 310 journeyman with a dynapath 10 controller. does anyone have a pinout for the 9 to 25 pin cable? i have seen several different posts with different pinouts.
Help,
Hi all,
I'm trying to make a multi-purpose X-Y-translation table from an old Matsuura milling-machine. It has a Fanuc-11M controller.
My goal is to change to a controller which I program with MACH3. To do so I only need the X and Y servo motors and drives. They are the following:
servo-drives: (velocity control unit) A06B6047H303
Does anyone have a schematic of the servo-drive (or PCB)?
Or a pin-out of the CN1 (FANUC 11M) connector of the PCB?
Any information that can help me is also appriciated.
I'm hoping that a simple +/-10V signal is sufficient for driving the servo's (if only I knew which pins to use of the CN1 connector). All further IO (encoder/limit-switches) can directly go to the controller.
Greetings,
Jaques
