Question More part storage memory on 16A ?? or Drip feed faster??

    Hi there! great site!

I've got a a16b-2200-0900 with 512 Kb, and i want to upgrade this to 4 to 8 Mb.
Do you know if somethings exist like an expansion memory module or something like that?? I don't want to drip feed because that take more time to do the job... unless you have tips for the drip feed to be more fast?

Presently we can only load 2 program at a time in the nc, so were loosing much time in transfering data from the PC to the NC. Can someone help me with this?

I believe that the max memory you can have on that board is 2560m. You would have to have the option bit turned on to get the memory.

The link below should be able to help you with what you want to do. I have heard good things about them.

I do not prefer to drip feed. Some people will argue but I like to use more capabilities of the control for macro's and such that long extensive programs that you have to drip feed are not needed. You have a lot more versatility.
