I would like to send a Z axis setup value 12.1234 to memory location 500 in a Power Mate controller. I have written a communication program that can talk over the RS232 port and send either EIA or ISO tape formatted data to the Power Mate controller. I understand that there is a pop open command in the Power Mate controller but that is all I know. Does anyone know how to write a routine in the Power Mate that will send a prompt out the RS232C port and then I can key on that prompt and send my setup value to the Power Mate. I need this data to go to memory address 500. Thank you. |
