In deep SH%$

Hey guys. I got a problem with a Fanuc 15MF. The ladder was cleared. I guess someone was messing around and never had the keeprelay on that protects the ladder.

I did back everything up in S-form. When I go to I/O
Device= FDCAS
Read
File No=1

I get a data error on the CNC but the PC keeps sending data.

I really need to get this up and going today. Please help however you can.

I have an update. I was able to start loading back to the PMC now with no alarms at the beginning. It loads about 14% of the way then the control kicks to the boot screen and gives:

System Alarm
Other-CPU
Error Occured at 2008-08-25
Hard Information 1
00:0 CNC Main CPU (297137)
Slot I/O: 8020 4030 7571 A751
02:1 PMC-NB Cpu Board (019D142)
O slot I/O : 0010 F7 FF PCDF 810D

There is more but it says: Page up or Down

I am stuck any ideas would be more then apperciated.

Ok guys I have some answers and some questions. The reason I was told it will not load via RS232 is because the backup is in S-form. The M-card slot has 2 broken pins. So loading with a SRam card is not an option. My question, is there a way to convert the S-form backup that I have to RS232 so I can load through the RS232 port?? Or any other ideas that would possible work.

Ok guy's we are backup and running . I just wanted to give some information on how we did so. There were 2 broken pins on the card reader mounted to the PMC board so using a Sram card was out of the question. My ladder was in S-form so it could not be reloaded through the RS232.

After taking to Fanuc they said the PMC board would have to be replaced so it had a good Sram slot and they could reload the ladder. This would have been very expensive and now knowing this did not need to be done considering veryone told me that this was the only way.

Talking to GeFanuc they said that they could convert the S-form ladder in there Fanuc ladder III and reload via RS232. Of course a Tech would have to come in $$$. After talking to another tech he said Hyperterminal.

I just want to let you know that a S-form ladder can be reloaded with no conversions via RS232. Hyperterminal as most of you know is free and standard on all Microsoft computers. Well I don't know about the newer ones.

I just wanted to let everyone know.

Thanks for the help
