Need Help!- Fanuc O-Tc AC Spindle Motor Drive Problem

Hi
I am having problems with my Ac Spindle motor Drive. When i power up the machine the LED Display on my drive shows "AL-17 Defective arithmetic circuit and peripheral circuit " and i couldn't get this problem solved.

I replaced my board with same model but the problem remains the same. Can any one Help me where should i look at or what IC's on the drive can i replace to solve the problem.

Did you figure this out? I seem to have the same error.

We had the transistor module and mid-voltage transistors on the board replaced but it just failed again. I am not sure if replaceing the board will help.

I am guessing checking the motor should have been done.

When you changed the board, did you change the software also??? This alarm could be related to the software, that happens to me once bofore.

Power off spindle drive and set jumper S1 to "Test"
Turn on drive.
Hold down all four switches at once until display flashes "FFFFF"
Release switches then hold down "Mode Switch" Press "Up Switch" until display shows FC22 Release other switches then press and hold " Data Set Switch" until display shows "GOOD"
Turn off drive and set jumper S1 back to "Drive"
Turn drive back on
Reload spindle parameters
