Fanuc 3T

Can anyone tell me if the Fanuc 3T control has rs232 port for program downloading. I am looking at a used lathe with this control and the seller does not have the information.

AFAIK the 3T came with a tape reader and punch port, you can however get what is known as a BTR (behind the tape reader) electronic interface for hook up to a PC etc. This is one place should be able to supply

We put a BTR in our machine and it works just like having a normal tape.

We had trouble finding one, but got ours at:

We also use their DNC software but you can really use any software to send the G-code program to it, just match the com port settings.

what machine manufacter is it? i have a citizen f16 with a 3t and it has an rs232 port
