i think it is a PMC Problem...
My Spindle Motor is really giving me tough time! I had checked my drive and Parameters and Override 100% parameters. Spindle Drive Parameters are ok but the wont moves it takes a jerk and stops.
In MDI mode, with M3 S1000, the motor dont move.
Please someone help me out and reduce my downtime!!!!!

i think it is a PMC Problem...
There are lot of cause of spindle rotation. Most of them from PMC.
First of all, you should check from spindle amplifier if ther is any spindle alarm. Some tool builder do not catch this alarm.
If MDI can execute (check start lamp), you could check for oil lub, air, magazine, chuck, tail stock ...
If MDI cannot start, check for ST, SP signal.
FSOTC can display ladder so you are easy to check which input signal that lock spindle.
I would try an m4 s1000;
and see if it will move
what is the spindle drive part number (example A16B-xxxx-xxxx)
Like Jung said check the spindle AL on the amp itself after you run the MDI program
check for a broken wire, accelaration parameter, Volt curve (Volt VS RPM) (I have see too low volt at low rpm with the same symptom), spindle feedback (and all signal coming from spindle), signal or communication to the drive (coming from PMC)
Have you try with other speed, like 15000 rpm? (the pmc can disable the spindle if too low rpm)
Also, look your drive to see what happen when you try to start the spindle.

The problem must be diagnosed by splitting the problem.
1) If there is a "excess error" upon power up of the amplifiers, then you may have encoder or parameter problems. The spindle may be trying to run away due to servo phasing problems. Parameters are unlikely if the machine was running before. Check cables to the encoder for damage.
2) If there is an "excess error" Only when you try to move the spindle check for mechanical binds. If the spindle rotates freely you will most likley have an amplifier failure (most probable) or motor failure.
Sounds like the sensor on the back of the spindle motor
Check the gap between sensor and tooth gear
Should be .003 to .005
What is the part number of the spindle drive?
