    Makino A-55 with fanuc 0m?

Just bought a makino A-55 with a fanuc O control have lots of questions.
1)when I reference the machine axis the absolute is all zero's,
I have another makino that is when I reference it x=0 y=25.196 z=27.952. all my programs are written with these offsets. is there a way to change my new (used 1991 makino )to be the same as my 1994 makino?

2)is there a way configure the reset button so that when I hit reset the spindle stops?

3)can I configure the M60 pallet change to stop the spindle? when I do a pallet change the spindle keeps running.

I have lots more but we'll start with these. thanks

Check parameter 10 bit #7. IIRC it should be 1 to automatically set a coordinate system when manual zero return is performed.

Also check parameters 708 (X), 709 (Y), and 710 (Z) vs. your other machine. These should be the positions that are preset when you do a manual zero return.

you will have to edit your pallet change program to stop the spindle. add an
M5 in your program. remember it will be one of the 9000 series program
parameter 3202.4 will allow you to edit the 9000 series programs
If you can ENVISION it I can make it

    Getting closer

thanks so far, one more question. is there a way to change the setting on the pallet ready button at the loading station? on my other machine if you are not ready to send the pallet in, the machine waits for you to hit the green button, then continues but on my 1991 machine if you dont have the green button pushed when the other pallet is done you get an alarm and then have to reset program. any help would be appreciated
